i don't get the abstract inspiration. but yes, pigs are not meant to be "pretty" by our normal perception of the word. they're "pretty" when in the standard of "pig" is most noticeable, and such factors are demonstrated by their "pig-ness." Thus, it cannot be exemplified by the pig being "pretty" like a flower or a "cute" kitten, but "pretty" within its own construct of "pig-ness."
